Arma II: DayZ Mod - Get it!

Too awesome to even mention. Sandbox FPS persistent zombie survival game. Break your legs and die from loss of blood sobbing quietly in the corner of a shed while you can hear zombies breaking down the door and screaming for your blood, or coolly snipe down masses of them while your buddy DK cowers nearby trying to aim his shotgun while starving. Everything about it is fcking epic. Totally worth the 20 or so bucks steam charges for Arma II CO right now.

Things you must to do survive include raiding towns for sustenance, weapons, medical supplies, and getting on the fucking bus.



You can repair bicycles, motorcycles, car, trucks, bus, and helicopters.

When we find that box of matches to supply us with a consistent foodsource, we should look for a bus to repair ;P

Also, lessons we've learned about DayZ/Zombie Apocalypse:

- Army tents are scary as fck.
- Don't go crawling around checking them for loot when DK has a full bladder
- Don't stand in doorways shooting zombies in plain sight
- Don't ever, EVER, EEEEVER, go into Stary Sobor. Everything in there wants to murder you.

Also, we made a friend yesterday, which is very rare in DayZ. Drove all over the map with us, in a bus. He lost his life in a tragic helicopter accident which both DK and myself narrowly survived. R.i.p. Andrew. Your driving skills will be missed.

On a different note, if you see this DK, be wary at login. After updating, my character spawned with 3k blood and was bleeding, even though I logged out at full. So keep a bandage ready.

You prolly got shot by the sniper/hacker/passerby. On the other hand, I tried optimizing my game and it only got worse. I should have left well enough alone.

No, that's the weird thing. When I logged onto a different server right after the incident, I was at 12k blood. Then a day later I log on, and I've almost bled out. Buggy game. Also, I respawned near the coast, again... ffs.

On the upside, I updated to 1.7.2.5, and the infinite ammo bug still works.

I raided some clan's camp. Found a DMR and a fcking Jeep with tons of shit in it! I drove it off and hid it in the woods somewhere, but we should probably have some fun with it / hide it in a better spot before they log on and hunt us down.
